Good morning, neighbor.
Chris Moss, your Arlington reporter, here to bring you the top headlines.
For nearly a year, Arlington ISD trustees have been hearing projections that their district could face a completely different enrollment landscape by 2035. Last week, they signaled that change must happen quickly to address enrollment or close schools.
In this weekβs top story, I bring you some of the data behind the declining enrollment and why trustees may have to look at closures in the future.
Also, Arlington outshone a few of its neighbors on the annual Trust for Public Land ParkScore Index. To find out more about the efforts behind that rating and who landed where, check out the story from environment reporter Nicole Lopez. |
